FFUT Theology for Everyday Life – ep.00 – Pilot

“Theology isn’t just for scholars or pastors — it’s for everyday believers learning to walk with God through real life. Faith For U Today was created to make those deep truths simple, practical, and life-changing — because faith isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about knowing the One who does.”

The God-Man: Understanding Who Jesus Really Is

The study of Jesus—called Christology—isn’t just for theologians. It’s for anyone who wants to know who they’re really following. Because the truth is this: if we misunderstand who Jesus is, we’ll misunderstand what He came to do.

Let’s explore, in simple terms, who Jesus is and why it matters more than anything else.

Don’t Just Be Nice: Why Doctrine is Your Faith’s GPS

We often hear the message, “Can’t we just all get along?” The truth is, sometimes, no, we can’t. And what I want to firmly argue is that division isn’t always the bad guy. Sometimes, it’s the necessary consequence of holding onto something profoundly important: true doctrine.

Doctrine is the organized teaching of the core truths found in Scripture—it’s the GPS for our faith. As history shows, from the early battles over Who is Jesus? (Christology) to the Reformation debates over How are we Saved? (Soteriology), these defining beliefs have always created boundaries.

Division is only bad if it’s over something minor. When someone introduces a belief that fundamentally changes the core Gospel message (like denying Christ’s deity), they are the one who has left the historic faith. The person standing firm is simply holding the line, which reveals the separation the error already created.

We need to stand firm because doctrine isn’t just information; it’s the map to the real Jesus.

If you don’t learn true doctrine, you won’t know the true Christ. Learning true doctrine is simply learning to see Jesus as He truly is: the God-Man, the sovereign King, the merciful Savior, and the final Judge.

Hold fast to the truth, for it is the only way to know and follow the true Christ.

How To Have Assurance Of Salvation: Part 3 of 3

Your mind is a wonderful thing. It is composed of physical parts that connect all the components of your body. Your brain is made up of neurons and chemicals that help you recall much information. We begin learning basic human functions from our parents or guardians, such as eating and using the bathroom. They teach us how to talk before we can even spell or read a word. From this basic knowledge, we further our wisdom by attending school to learn about the world in which we live. Classes are provided to explore everything from microscopic cells to the many galaxies in this universe. Some of us have obtained great success in expanding our knowledge. Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, and many others were renowned for their exceptional intellect. They are influential thinkers who helped society grow and adapt. But can all this wisdom and information poured into our brains save us? Is salvation just an issue of ignorance? Are those who are not saved simply misunderstanding what the Bible teaches?

How To Have Assurance Of Salvation: Part 2 of 3

Many people want hard evidence or proof of their faith and salvation. As Christian believers, we know that our works do not save us. But many still seem to base salvation on works, pre- or post-Christ. The danger of determining the genuineness of our salvation by our works draws us further from Christ. Our works should never be used as a determining factor in one’s salvation. Some would even say, “If you truly are saved, you will do good works.” Although this statement may be true, it is not accurate. Read on to discover why…

How To Have Assurance Of Salvation: Part 1 of 3

In a world filled with fake news and fake people, it is no wonder that we struggle to believe in anything or anyone today. Artificial Intelligence can generate photos of long-gone loved ones and turn them into living video clips. A.I. can also create entirely imaginary images and fool the public into believing they are real. We now live in a world of make-believe and fantasies. We see it in movies and read it in books. The fiction world has overtaken the non-fiction reality. To put it another way, it is hard to find something to have assurance in today. Living constantly in a world of imitation, Christians fall from grace and feel as though they have lost their salvation. How can we know we have salvation? Is there something to measure? Can we pinpoint something that will assure us of our salvation? In this three part series, we will look into how someone can know and be assured they are saved. Part one will cover what faith is and what we believe in as Christians. The second part will cover the false assurance of salvation by works. The last article will explain how salvation cannot come from what we know alone. My hope is that you will discover what faith really is, and how we can have absolute assurance of our salvation. Read on if you want this assurance.

The Doctrine of Election: A Response To The Critics

When Predestination and Election are discussed, everyone within earshot suddenly becomes engaged and raises questions they were never concerned about before. It is possibly the most controversial doctrine the Church of Christ has had to struggle with. It is one thing to struggle with whether or not someone is predestined unto life, or in other words, Elected. This implies there is an elite privileged group that receives God’s grace unjustly. But to further the matter of confusion, what about those we love and their eternal condition? How are we to accept the knowledge that our children, spouses, or loved ones are not elected? I know this is the question that may crumble your entire view of God. What about so-and-so? What about my child? What about my family? What about my spouse? What about my friends? What about my co-workers? What about my neighbors? What about all those good people in the world? What about the innocent? What about the mentally challenged? What about the physically challenged? What about all those people who live right and do their best? What about them? How can a loving God not be willing to save everyone and give everyone a chance?

Who Is The Devil? Part 7 of 7: Speak No Evil

The article Hear No Evil distinguishes the voice of the devil from your own thoughts or God’s inspiration. We can identify the devil’s speech by the poisonous lies and the motives of the words. He sounds like us, causing us to believe his words are our own thoughts, and he uses words that tempt and lead us to sin. See No Evil is about how the evil one deceives us into judging ourselves as well as judging others. It is how we view ourselves in light of God, and the common sinful practice of comparing ourselves with others. In this final article, Speak No Evil examines how we initiate sin and become a vessel through which it is spread to others. Hearing and seeing involve consuming the misinformation and lies, leading to deception and sin. Speaking produces evil and misinformation, spreading it to others for sinful purposes. This is where the devil shines and uses us as his instruments. It is sharing in the misery and suffering, or the fleshly pleasures of the world. It is unbridled violence against others, which results in violent encounters. Evil finds comfort in knowing that others are suffering and indulging in the same vices.
